Update April 2008 - These pages were written in 1998-1999 during my restoration of a 1968 Volkswagen beetle. They have been offline for several years but will now remain indefinitely at http://www.mclaydon.com/beetle/.
When I restored the vehicle in 1998 it was 30 years old, this year sees it's 40th birthday and XGP 533G is still on the roads in the UK.
